Gîte Vin Rouge is a spacious 6-person self-catering holiday gîte in the Charente-Maritime countryside. With three good-sized bedrooms, including one double bed and four single beds, it offers flexible sleeping arrangements for families or groups of friends.

A Beautiful, Spacious Barn

This beautiful 150-year-old barn has been carefully refurbished to create a spacious and comfortable holiday home, with a wonderful open-plan living area. Historically, the barn was used to dry walnuts and formed part of a large farming estate.

For cooler evenings, a large wood-burning stove in the lounge provides an inviting focal point and efficiently heats the accommodation.

Heating & Cooling for Year-Round Comfort

No one wants to spend their holiday feeling too hot in summer or too cold in winter. Gîte Vin Rouge has newly fitted heating and cooling to help keep the accommodation comfortable whatever the season. Our on-site solar panels also help reduce the property's carbon emissions.

Fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected during your stay. The lounge also has English and continental satellite TV, while the smart TV stick allows you to log in to your own streaming services and enjoy your favourite programmes.

The enclosed outdoor area provides a safe space for children to play, with a mini children's play area and football goal. Meanwhile, adults can relax beside the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool with a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful countryside surroundings.

One of the special features of staying at Chatenet Holiday Gites is our on-site wine tasting. As a licensed venue, we are able to offer tastings in our dedicated, air-conditioned tasting room.
